As students, we have both rights and responsibilities that come with our education. Additionally, we have the responsibility to actively participate in our learning, complete assignments on time, and treat our peers and teachers with respect. We also have the right to express our opinions and beliefs in a respectful manner, while understanding that this right is balanced by the responsibility to consider the impact of our words on others. Finally, as students, we have the responsibility to use our education to make positive contributions to society and to uphold ethical standards throughout our academic and professional careers.

The role of the teacher in education is critical to the success of students. Teachers are responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student growth and development. They must be knowledgeable in their subject matter, use effective teaching methods, and provide clear and concise feedback to students. Additionally, teachers must be proactive in addressing any behavior that may disrupt the learning environment and must provide equal opportunities for all students. Teachers also have a responsibility to continuously improve their own skills and knowledge, stay up to date with new teaching methods and technology, and collaborate with other teachers and school administrators. Students undertake their General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) exams at around age 16, after which they can choose to continue with A-levels or vocational courses. The UK places a strong emphasis on standardized exams to determine academic progression.

In contrast, the United States structures its education system with primary and secondary education, followed by higher education. The American higher education landscape is notable for its diversity, including universities, community colleges, and vocational schools. Necessary changes in today's education system in Slovakia should focus on several key areas. Firstly, there is a need to enhance the teaching of English, considering its role as a global language in communication and job opportunities. Additionally, the curriculum should be adapted to impart practical, real-life skills that prepare students for the challenges of the modern world, such as financial literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Integrating regular physical activities into the education framework is essential for promoting students' overall well-being and fostering healthy lifestyles. Lastly, recognizing the increasing importance of artificial intelligence (AI), the education system should introduce students to AI concepts and applications.

3. Relationship between teacher and a student

The relationship between a teacher and a student is really important. It's not just about learning stuff in class. The teacher helps and guides the student.
